Dynamic Case Packs helps B2B customers order faster and more accurately by clearly displaying how many pieces are included in a case for each product. Instead of leaving buyers to guess whether they’re ordering individual units or full cases, this feature shows the pack size directly on the product page and reinforces it in the quantity selector. As the buyer increases or decreases quantity, the displayed total count updates dynamically, giving immediate clarity on what will actually ship.

A product metafield stores the case pack size (pieces per case) on a per-product basis. That value is displayed as a simple “Pack Size” / “Pieces per Case” field on the product page, and is also used to dynamically update the quantity UI. When a customer selects a quantity, the storefront calculates the total piece count in real time (quantity × pack size) and displays it alongside the quantity field so customers always understand the true order volume.
